Rockies Alpine Climbing -- The Canadian Rockies, Alberta and British Columbia
With snow-capped mountains all year round, the Canadian Rockies is one of the most beautiful places to climb in Canada. You can reach a summit through multi-pitch sport or trad climbing, or scrambling and short-roping, or a mix of all of them. This IS the place to learn alpine climbing which may involve scrambling, short-roping, snow and ice travelling, sport or trad climbing, and mountaineering.
Whether you are a beginner or experienced rock climber, our ACMG certified rock/alpine/mountain guides can tailor the itinerary to help you learn, improve and realize your realistic summit objectives.
If you have climbed top rope outdoors, you can follow (i.e. second) our guide to a summit. If you are able to lead climb - sport or trad - outdoors, our guide will help you improve your leading skills in multi-pitch climbs.
While we recommend the following classic one-day summiting routes, you can also let us know any routes or mountain you want to climb.
1. N.E. Face, Ha Ling Peak, 10 pitches, 5.7
2. Grillmair Chimneys, Mt. Yamnuska, 10 pitches, 5.6
