Try Rock Climbing and Rappelling with Pride
In celebration of the Pride Month in the GTA, this event provides anyone identifies as LGBTQ2+ an experience to climb up a cliff, and/or, rappel down a cliff to enjoy an unobstructed panoramic view in style. You're welcome to bring your pride attire/flair. We will do our best to accomodate while adhereing our safety and risk management standards.
(You can visit the indigenous Long House at Crawford Lake Conservation Area or the Raptor Centre at Mountsberg Conservation Area before or after your climb without additional charge.)
Pre-requisites:
- Age 8 or older.
- Able to walk up a flight of stairs independently.
Where: Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area at 7200 Appleby Line, Milton, ON L9T 2Y1.
Meeting Spot: Go to the Upper Parking Lot. From there, follow the Vista Adventure Trail -- a wide dirt trail that begins at the right of the outhouse (not the paved road going down hill) for 3 minutes to our registration desk in front of the Pinnacle Lookout near the staircase.
Time: 9:30am - 4pm, Friday, June 28, 2024 (Please book ahead and budget one hour for this rappel and its related procedures. Please check the current booking situation in the calendar and let us know your preferre time slot. Thanks!)
Fee (for three rappels) when booked before your rappelling day: $120/person+HST
Group registration discount: $90/person for a group of 2 or more people.
Walk-in clients add $5/person to the above fees.
Climbing Fee (for one climb) when booked before your climbing date: $60/person+HST
- $55/person for a group of 2 people.
- $50/person for a group of 3 people.
- $45/person for a group of 4 or more people.
- Walk-in clients add $5/person to the above fees.
You can add one more climb of a different route for $30/person+HST. You can rent climbing shoes at $6/person+HST.
What is provided: Helmet, harness, rappelling rope and device, a backup rope secured by an instructor for your safety.
What to wear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes with non-slipery soles. Put your jewelry, rings on fingers and artificial finger nails away for an enjoyable experience.

By submitting the above information, you agree to our Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
(Walk-in clients are welcome and will be accommodated between the time slots of pre-registered clients.)
Booking Conditions:
All participants are required to read, understand and sign this waiver of liability. Those under the age of 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian co-sign their waiver, and be accompanied by an adult.
Cancellation Policy:
Nature tests us and nurtures us. Zen Climb may at its sole discretion reschedule or cancel a booked event due to extreme risky weather conditions or other factors justifiable by Zen Climb. In case of such a cancellation, we will notify you the day before the start of the program. Pre-registered clients can transfer their credits to any other event or course offered by Zen Climb within one year, or receive a refund of total payment minus $5 processing fee per registration. If you did not receive a cancellation email/text/call from us, assume the event will run as scheduled.
When a registered client decides to cancel, cancellation must be received 30 days prior to the start of the event in order to receive a 50% refund. Otherwise, no refund will be issued. You may transfer your reservation to another person or use the creidts for any other event or course offered by Zen Climb within one year.
